My Better Half

I don't really know how to put into words how grateful I am for Ryan. He has a so-so job, that he goes to everyday anyway, he has pain in the butt teachers, that he goes to their classes anyway. We're tight on money, but he buys me little presents out of the blue anyway.

This week I wasn't feeling well, upset stomach, super achey all over and sore throat with all the sinus problems that go with it, Ryan came home from work late one night and had bought me the most beautiful necklace he knew I had admired at the jewelry store. I had no idea and it was such a wonderful surprise. So sweet of him.
I've tried and searched and looked to try and find a picture online to show you but with not success I'll post a picture of me wearing it sometime.

Then this morning... I woke up with UTI symptoms, burning sore throat and I'm still on my "lady time" I was even more miserable then I could've imagined. I felt so bad because today is Ryan's "Saturday" I had promised him we would go to the gym and olive garden, I did all I could to get ready and go, but there was no way I was going to make it. He has been so sweet and understanding. I immediately crashed and  went back in bed, while Ryan went to run errands. I slept till about 5 (I went to sleep around 2, just for the record) then I woke up to Artie softly growling, I of course had to pee, then heard Ryan coming up the stairs with an Olive Garden to-go food back and a raspberry lemonade. Seriously? how sweet is he?

love that man.

Debbie Chase

For those of you who don't know Debbie, she is the lady I do flowers with. Calling her a lady sounds weird though, like she's so much older than me or we're not that close, cause she's like the older sister I never had (no offense Emilee & Shannon!) We're very much alike, with a few differences that keep each other balanced and sane in the late hours of floral designing.

Any who, I was having a really rough night and she was there for me. It's been kinda hard being married and not having a girlfriend to talk to that is also married. It was so good and so NEEDED for me to vent and get everything off my chest and be re-assured that I'm doing the best that I can and that is good enough. She is awesome. I don't know what I'd do without her. 

She is a wonderful friend, person and role model. Can't say enough good things about my GLAMOROUS friend Debbie!

And of Course

Ryan.

He is so good to me. I do most of the moving and organizing and work for the move, he's always encouraging and gives me back massages when I'm sore.

What a love.

Can't get enough of him.  Even having to be MIA for most of the details, he's still been a big help. LOVE YA BABE!

Slap in the face

so. I thought I had been doing well at my new job. I was being told I've been doing well at my new job.

Apparently not.

today was my last day. I was told to take tomorrow off and I am supposedly going to get a call tomorrow after they all talk about me and vote and decide if they want to keep me. My "inside source" a friend, received an email already, saying that there will be a new person there on monday.

ouch.

that sucks.

we had already put in our 30 day notice where we live in preparation to move to Tigard, hopefully, we will be able to retract it.

whoope i'm back among the un employed.

Something that has never happened before...

I love my job.

I recently got hired at TZ Medical, a medical product manufacturing company.

I was initially hired through the temp agency to work for a week and half while their receptionist went on a cruise, but on my second day of training, they offered me a permanent position.

The CEO retired and everyone moved up so there was a new international/marketing position available for Jessica (the current receptionist) and then I will take her place.

I am super excited about it.

I love the company, the new CEO is the previous CEO's son-in-law and the VP is his brother in law/previous CEO's son, a sister and a wife or two and some cousins of the family also work there, and I know family businesses can be risky, but it's great! They all work so well together and it's such a better atmosphere then my previous job, which makes total sense, it was a body shop, I was the only female for the last 4 months I was there.

I feel so much more comfortable and light working here, my direct supervisor, says I'm doing a great job. so that's always good to hear.

Jessica and I get along really well, we have similar senses of humor, and she's super smart, always using big words and stuff. She's really fun.

I've never had a job I loved before... but I have a really good feeling about this place and I'm SUPER excited about it.

The only downside is that the office is located all the way over in Tigard, which gives me a 45 min commute each way, so because of that, at the end of February (President's Day to be exact) we will be moving to Tigard/King City area to some nice apartments (newer then ours, which is a definite plus) and it's only about 15 minutes away from work. AND there's a washer and dryer in the apartment!!! YAY!  HAPPY DANCE!! There was no way with Ryan's new work shift (1:30pm-10:30pm Friday-Tuesday) I was going to be lugging loads of laundry across dark parking lots  or driving all the way out to our parents once a week, or (the most likely circumstance) wear the same pair of jeans for 2 and a half weeks.

That is what has been going on with me, and I'm loving it. OH and I kinda got bit by the crafting bug, I have been dreaming and swooning over craft websites for the past 6 months, but I finally started a project, post and pictures to come soon. :)
